This locomotive was built in August 2003 for HSBC Rail and leased to ERS Railways (formerly European Rail Shuttle) in the Netherlands and was given their fleet number 6608

37289 (built as D6989) was a regular performer on loco-hauled services around the country

Incredibly it survived the disbanding of this formation and was acquired for preservation

one of several 'missing link' sub classes that has never been produced in high quality form in 4mm scale

Originally carrying the DRS compass livery, the locomotive was soon put to work on a variety of the companies trains. 66421 was refreshed with the new simplified DRS livery during 2015 and ran unnamed until 2018 when it featured at the DRS Crewe Gresty Bridge TMD open day where it was named after the depot.
